Bang Saen Pad Cha | Culture Trip © 2017
Last month, I made the exciting announcement that I have a new food and travel show called Hungerlust. Hungerlust is an original series that lives on Culture Trip and explores the many cultures that call New York City home.
The first episode of Hungerlust focused on Vietnamese culture and the classic dish, pho. I went to one of my favorite spots, District Saigon, in Queens to speak with the father and son duo behind the restaurant. The pair talked about family recipes, showed me how to make pho and shared tips on visiting Vietnam.
On this next episode of Hungerlust, I head back to Queens to a family-run restaurant called Pochana. Pochana is in Astoria and serves up classic Thai dishes that challenge your notion of authentic Thai cuisine.
