The Pin the Map Project ‘Very Inspiring Blogger Award’ Nomination!

 

From day one, I have been in awe of the encouraging comments and support I’ve received from people around the world in the travel community. A blog without readers ceases to exist so I am thankful to all who visit and take the time to read my writing.

 

Recently I received an award nomination from the lovely Caitlin of Head Out West-a travel blog sharing her adventures both at home and abroad. Caitlin is an American Literature graduate with plans to travel to Costa Rica and Panama later this year! A big thanks to Caitlin for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award!

 

Similar to The Pin the Map Project’s Liebster Award nomination, the Very Inspiring Blogger Award asks nominated bloggers to share some facts about themselves and in turn celebrate other budding bloggers. Here are 6 things you didn’t know about yours truly.

 

1. I was born in Bogota, Colombia and am a dual citizen of the United States.
2. It is my dream to one day go on an Orca whale safari in Norway to see these beautiful animals in the wild.
3. I collect bracelets from every country I visit so that I can wear my travel memories on my wrist
4. One time I fell down the stairs in front of fashion icon, Anna Wintour, at a New York fashion show-it was mortifying!
5. I once maxed out my credit card as a teenager just so I could fly to Rome (I recommend the destination but definitely not the debt!)
6. I didn’t take a job after college graduation because I knew I wanted to travel the world first. After I finished school, I moved to France!
